About the NextCOVE Study

The purpose of the NextCOVE Study is to evaluate an investigational vaccine that may protect people from getting sick if they come into contact with the virus that causes COVID-19 and multiple variants, including the Omicron variant.

You (or your child) will be chosen at random to receive either the investigational booster dose of mRNA-1283.222 or mRNA-1273.222.

Participants in the NextCOVE Study will need to meet the following criteria:
* Be at least between 12 through 17 years old
* Have received a COVID-19 vaccine and at least 1 booster dose of a COVID-19 vaccine

The booster doses are not required for participants youngwer than 18 years of age. All trial participants will receive medical care from the trial doctor while in the NextCOVE Study.

Additional eligibility requirements apply, and the clinical trial doctor will explain these to you.

Diseases do not discriminate — and neither should clinical trials. Moderna is committed to researching safe and effective mRNA-based vaccines and therapies to bring better health and living to people of all ages, sexes, and backgrounds.

To learn more about participation, and to contact a participating clinical trial site for you or someone else you know, call 972-746-2222.

Only people can help save people.
